This recipe was lovingly shared with me by my mother-in-law many years ago, and it’s became a staple in our home ever since. It’s simple, satisfying, and always a hit. Let’s make them—and get ready to impress your family and friends.
Serves: 4-6 people
Prep-time: 15 minutes
Ingredients:
• 2 lbs chicken wings
• Salt and pepper, to taste
• 1 egg
• 2 tbsp milk
• 1 cup breadcrumbs (plain or seasoned)
• 2 tbsp oil (olive or vegetable)
• 1 tbsp butter, cut into small pieces
• A sprinkle of love 💛
Method:
Step 1: Season the Wings
Pat chicken wings dry with paper towels. Season generously with salt and pepper.
Step 2: Set Up Your Dredging Station
Line up your ingredients in this order:
• Plate with seasoned chicken wings
• Bowl with beaten egg and milk
• Plate with breadcrumbs
• Greased baking pan at the end
Step 3: Coat the Wings
First, dip each wing into the egg mixture; next, roll it in breadcrumbs until fully coated.
Arrange them on the baking sheet in a single layer. Drizzle with oil and dot with butter for extra crispiness.
Step 4: Bake to Perfection
Bake at 370°F (188°C) for 1 hour, flipping halfway through at the 30-minute mark. Wings should be golden brown and crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside.
Serving Suggestions:
